St. Vincent de Paul
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is composed of lay personnel of the parish (both male and female) who assist individuals and families, by actual private personal visits, within the parish boundaries, that are in need of food and financial needs for assistance in utility partial payments, rents, transportation, or pharmacy requirements. Members also assist in the distribution of meals via St. Vincent de Paul bus in the E. St. Louis area once monthly. Funds for the society are obtained by membership donations at monthly meetings and the Poor and Needy Collection at the parish

They are trying to stay open, especially now that so many people are out of work and will need assistance. But they need food.

Volunteers are always helpful and needed (the young people of the parish who assist on Saturdays are greatly appreciated ☺). Call 355-9199 to see if you can assist once each month for several hours. Last year 5,436 families were served with almost 18,000 bags of food! Your help in any way or manner is appreciated!
